A/c pumnp clutch

I recently developed a new problem on my 2000 Chevrolet Impala. The clutch on the A/C pump keeps kicking on and off. Is there a sensor or relay that needs to be replaced. I recently had to have the transmission replaced and I noticed the problem after that.

Re: A/c pumnp clutch

When the A/C compressor clutch goes on and off quickly that is a sign that it may need a recharge of R134a freon. You probably won't need to evacuate the system just add a few ounces from a can of freon.

If the problems continues then a leak would need to be detected and repaired to fix the issue.
