My car is 2005 JEEP CHEROKEE(liberty) RENEGADE 3.7 V6.
I opened the door all day because I was tinting work but it did not start Cranking.
I replaced the battery, starter motor, fuel pump, and crank position sensor all new. But the not cranking.
There is no problem with the ignition switch.
There is no problem with SKIS antenna.
All fuses and relays in the interior and the engine room are OK.
No fault codes and Trouble Code appear on the scanner.
When the start relay 30 and 87 are connected, the starter motor and the engine move but there is no spark in the spark plug.
Now what can I do to crank it?
Please save me.
Use the key FOB (remote) and lock the doors with the door shut, then unlock the doors. Repeat again, lock the doors then unlock the doors.
With the doors open all day you could of hit the lock button on the door. This may of sent a signal to the PCM that the door was broken into activating the security system causing no spark.
Try this simple suggestion if it doesn't work get back to me we can diagnosis the problem further.
I do followed your instructions.
That does not cranking.
I am confused, are you trying to crank the engine over or trying to start the engine.
You keep saying no cranking that tells me the engine is not turning.
So is it not starting or not turning over.
Sorry. My English is kindergarten level.
I'm trying my best to start the engine.
As you taught me, I locked the door with the key and repeated the heat. After that, I tried cranking but the engine is not spinning.
When the ignition key is turned, the start motor sounds once. The sound is like an old cough.
I am sorry that my English skills are stupid.
Thank you, do not be mad.

Don't worry I'm not mad I just can't help you if I don't get the proper information.
I also wanted you to use the remote on the door locks not the key in the door lock.
If the motor does not turn and it sounds like a cough or like grinding when the starter spins, take the starter out and look at the flywheel (flex plate) teeth, they are probably ground down flat and the gear on the starter can't grab the teeth on the fly wheel because they are not there. If this is the case you need to replace the flywheel which requires the removal of the transmission.
Try that and get back to me when you can with the updated information.
As you taught me, I tried to do it remotely and also as a key.
I watched closely as I replaced the new start motor myself. The flywheel was fine.
I studied car maintenance. So I know basic maintenance knowledge and automotive engineering. Of course, my job is not a mechanic.
I could not solve the problem with my knowledge.
I am always thankful for your kind reply.
The Auto Shutdown (ASD) relay provides battery voltage to each ignition coil.
The PCM will de-energize the ASD relay if it does not receive inputs from either the crankshaft or camshaft position sensors. This will cause a no spark condition.
Check the ASD relay for proper operation also check for any broken wires or corroded connectors at the crank sensor and the cam sensor.
The automatic Shutdown (ASD) relay is located in the Power Distribution Center (PDC). Refer to label on PDC cover for relay location.
Get back to me when you can with your results we can diagnosis the problem further if needed.
This is the schematic for the ASD relay.
Thank you for your kind answer.
I checked the car again today.
When the ignition key is turned on, the SKIM indicator lights for 2 to 3 seconds and then turns off. There seems to be no problem with SKIM.
There is no problem connecting the battery. and The battery voltage is 12.7V.
I removed the spark plug, jumped to the negative terminal of the battery, and started by jumping start relays 30 and 87, and the spark plug flashed.
I jumped ASD relays 30 and 87 while the ignition key was on, and jumped the fuel pump relays 30 and 87. Then, it jumped start relay 30 and 87 and forced it to start. But it did not start.
I do not know what the problem is.
