remote start for Mazda 3 I 2007

I would like to install a remote start for my 07 Mazda. What do I need to do the job. I have a Abital  4113LX remote start kit. Do I need any thing else to install the kit? I have seen on you tube that I may need an additional module.

Re: remote start for Mazda 3 I 2007

It may require a vehicle specific transponder bypass module. This is vehicle specific and according to the year. Contact the manufacturer for more information..

This is not a "Do It Yourself' install". A professional installation is highly recommended. It is very easy to damage the expensive computer modules of the vehicle by hooking the starter module to the wrong wires which can cause drivability problems or cause another option in the car to work improperly which may require an expensive repair.

If you don't have the experience or the knowledge of the vehicles electrical system and do not have the proper wire schematics then leave it to a professionals.
