Re: 2003 Chevy Cavalier

Do you want to adjust the headlights or do the high beams not work? If they don't work then continue below.

Can you push the lever forward to get the high beams to come on and does the high beam indicator on the dash board come on?

Using a test light do you have current on the high beam side of the headlight plug? That would be the pink wire on the headlight plug terminal cavity B. If you don't have current to this wire check the wire on the multifunction switch that would be the pink wire also.

The most common problem is the multifunction switch in the steering wheel but there are other possible problems like the body computer.

Get back to me with more information and we can diagnosis the problem from there.

Re: 2003 Chevy Cavalier

The lights work but are not adjusted and the beams are too low/off to sides and is difficult to see well at night. I want to straighten them but there seems to be no way to adjust. Why?

Re: 2003 Chevy Cavalier

Adjust the vertical aim screw of the headlamps. I am sending a picture of the location of the screw.

The headlamps can not be adjusted horizontally.

If light beams are off to the side then check the installation of the bulb to be sure it is installed correctly. If it cant be moved then something is bent or broken or there is a problem with the headlight assembly and may need to be repositioned or replaced.
