2007 Ford Taurus won't start

When I try to start my car it try VERY slowly to turn over before finally starting. This went on for a week, now today it is just dead. All the lights radio everything works, so i don't think its the battery, plus its only couple months old. It clicks then nothing. Please help. Plus the starter is 1 1/2 years old and the alternator is 8 months old. I don't know if it is anything but I accidently put 5w 30 oil in my car and it says to use 5w 20....

Re: 2007 Ford Taurus won't start

Don't worry about the oil that will not harm anything.

Have a mechanic check the charging system for the proper charging rate and to also have him check for a parasitic draw that could be draining the battery over night.

Have the mechanic also check the starter for excessive amperage draw. The starter and alternator may be fairly new but that doesn't mean they are not faulty.

Check all of the body grounds for corrosion and poor connection.

Try these suggestions and get back to me with your results. We can diagnosis the problem further if needed.
