I have a 2001 Sebring with no start, no spark. Need advice on how to diagnose problem.
Do you have a convertible or a coupe and is it a 6 cylinder (2.7 or 3.0) or 4 cylinder?
Check all fuses first. Then if you can check the computer for any trouble codes stored in its memory.
When cranking the engine see if the cam shaft (look at distributor with cap off) is also moving this will tell you if the timing belt or chain is broken.
If you have a tachometer on the dash cluster or a scanner; see if you have an RPM signal when cranking the engine? If you don't have an RPM signal check the crank sensor.
These are some suggestions to look into.
Get back to me with the information I need and we can go on from there. Any additional information will be helpful.
