I have a 2005 KIA Spectra 5. My CD/radio, dashboard clock and interior lights have all stopped working simultaneously. I've tried switching out fuses, but that doesn't work, and they appear to be OK. I switched a few of the relays out under the hood, and that doesn't seem to work. Also, my key fob quit working at the same time. Any ideas on what the problem could be?
There is a 50 AMP IP fuse in the fuse panel that supplies power to the clock, radio and the remote according to the wire schematic. There is also a 15AMP ROOM fuse that should be checked.
If this information doesn't help get back to me and I can send you wire schematics to help you locate the problem.
I tried replacing the 50 amp fuse and still no lights or radio. Also checked the room 15a fuse as well, all seems good. What am I missing?
I am assuming you have the same vehicle as the one in the post. If you do then try these other fuses.
Check the 30 Amp ING 1 fuse and the 10 Amp Audio fuse.
If this is not your car then give me detailed information on your vehicle so we can help you diagnosis the problem properly.
Get back to me with your results when you can.
