Engine no start.

94 F 150, 302 (5.0) 4x4. After engine warms up to normal it shuts down. After cooled it will start. This happened five times. Now when you start the engine it turns over and doesn't start. Could it be a sensor?

Re: Engine no start.

You need to know what is shutting the engine down first, is it spark or fuel?

When the engine shuts down see if you have a spark at the spark plugs. If you don't have spark at the spark plugs then diagnosis the spark problem. If you have spark at the spark plugs then check for fuel pressure.

Fuel pressure should be 35 to 45 PSI with the key on engine off and 30 to 40 PSI with the engine running.

Check fuel filter for being clogged if not changed during last tune up.

Get back to me with your results and we can diagnosis the problem further if needed.
