blower motor

I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado. Used air conditioner going to store, got back in to start truck, turned on air and it would not work, not even the heat. Any ideas on what's wrong?

Re: blower motor

Check all fuses for the A/C system and fan.

Check for voltage at the fan, if voltage is there and the ground is good then it may be a bad fan. It is possible the fan seized and won't let the fan turn.

The plug that plugs into the fan could have a poor connection which could cause the fan to stop working. Turn the A/C on and wiggle the plug to see if the fan starts blowing. If this is the problem clean, repair or replace the plug as needed.
