The Steering Wheel of my 1989 Grand AM is clicking, and randomly turning the blinkers on. Is There a way to fix this?

Re: Steering Wheel trouble

The steering wheel needs to be removed to see what is broken off.

The canceling spring, screw or bearing may be loose and rolling around inside the steering column. Then hitting the directional from the inside causing the signals to go on.

You may need a signal switch, the canceling springs can sometimes break.
