1997 Buick LeSabre. Can't find where the water is coming in. I put silicone seal around the top. Still leaking somewhere

Re: floorboards full of water after a rain.

Water could be coming in from a broken body seam. This includes inside the area of the heater box and fan area.

Have someone spray water on the area you suspect is leaking.

Go inside the car and look all around under the dash, you might have to take off some moldings and panels to look at the areas that may be leaking.

If the leak is that bad you should be able to see it quickly.

Check around the windshield for a cracked molding or any rot that might be visible.

Inspect all weather strips under the hood and around the doors. Repair any cracked or leaking weather strips.

Try these suggestions and let us know how you make out.

If you have a sunroof, there are 4 drain tubes -- one at each corner. These tubes can become clogged and cause a water leak into the passenger compartment. The best way to clear the tubes is with compressed air.
