Replace Driver Side Power Mirror - Severed Wires

2001 Toyota Camry 4-cyl - The mirror has a 3-prong connector black/white/red, but there are no prongs coming up from the door - just 3 wires yellow/blue/gray (the gray is a double wire).  Can I cut the connector off the mirror side and splice the wires together?  If so, how do I match up the wire colors.  Thank you, Jim

Re: Replace Driver Side Power Mirror - Severed Wires

Your colors aren't matching up. The schematic is showing a brown wire with a white stripe, brown/yellow, and light green/red. Same color wires on either side of the connector.

Don't know if it's the wrong mirror, you're looking at the wrong harness, or a combination of both.
