Hi Phil:

Sounds like the transmission is slipping (engine revs, but you don't go anywhere).

First be sure the transmission fluid is full, and not burnt or contaminated.

I'm not coming up with any recall or technical service bulletin which does apply.

Have it diagnosed at a dealership or transmission repair shop. They can scan the system for trouble codes and relevant data, then pressure test the transaxle to confirm the failure.

It's probably not gong to be good news -- torque converter, internal clutch pack or seal problem.

If it comes down to it, you're usually better off going with an official Honda rebuilt unit.

Have someone check the charging system.

The charging rate should be about 13.0 to 14.0 volts.

Check all electrical connections related to the battery and the alternator, make sure they are clean of all corrosion and are tight.
