Testing a camshaft position sensor

HI,

Sorry I meant to say crankshaft position sensor.
(I believe this model doesn't have a camshaft position sensor?)

I'd like to know where it's located and how to test it.

This is a 2004 Checy cavalier, ecotec engine 2.2L

When replacing this sensor, is it necessary to use
a scan tool to reset the learn procedure in the computer?

Thanks

Re: Testing a camshaft position sensor

The crank sensor (CKP) on the 2.2L is located behind the starter, and may require starter removal to gain access. And yes, a scan tool is required to perform the re-learn procedure.
