DLC1 or DLC3 on the 22R-E Engines?

Could you please tell me whether 22R-E engines come equipped with the DLC1 or DLC3 (data link connector) and where is it located?

Thanks.

Re: DLC1 or DLC3 on the 22R-E Engines?

The last year this engine was used was in 1995.

DESCRIPTION:
The Data Link Connector is used to trigger the self diagnostic capabilities of the Engine Control Module (ECM).

OPERATION:
By connecting the Data Link Connector terminals with a jumper wire to terminals TE1 and E1 the ECM will begin to indicate any stored Data Trouble Codes.

LOCATION:
The Data Link Connector is located at the right front side of the engine compartment.

If this information is wrong as of the year of the vehicle, please send more detailed information on the vehicle and what information you might be looking for.
